WEDDING OF BLANCA DE MARICHALAR

Blanca de Marichalar y del Corral, a member of the House of Marichalar (Spain: Casa de Marichalar), married Rodrigo Moreno at The San Juan de Rabanera, a Romanesque-style, Roman Catholic church in Soria, Spain on August 2, 2020.

Blanca, la hija mayor de Amalio de Marichalar y Amalia de Corral, ha contraído matrimonio con Rodrigo Moreno en la iglesia de San Juan de Rabanera.

The bride born on June 2, 1992 is the eldest daughter of Amalio Joaquín de Marichalar y Sáenz de Tejada (born 1958), 9th Count of Ripalda and his wife Amalia de Corral y Rosillo (born 1962), Countess of Ripalda.

Blanca is the niece of Jaime de Marichalar and Sáenz de Tejada, who is the former husband of the Infanta Elena, Duchess of Lugo, the eldest daughter of King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia of Spain.

Felipe and Victoria de Marichalar y Borbón, children of Jaime de Marichalar and Infanta Elena, were present at the wedding.



On her big day, Blanca wore the Marichalar Tiara, a family heirloom that features diamonds and platinum with a base of metal circles, a laurel wreath middle and Greek key motif.

The Tiara was also worn by Infanta Elena on her wedding day.
