THE QUEEN STARTS CHRISTMAS BREAK 2019

The Queen Departed for Sandrigham

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II starts her traditional Christmas break, which she will be spent on the Royal estate at Sandringham, Norfolk, England.

The Queen travelled by train from London to King’s Lynn railway station in Norfolk on 20 December, 2019.

Sandringham is the much-loved country retreat of The Queen, and has been the private home of four generations of British monarchs since 1862.

The Queen will be joined later by other royals at Sandringham House for Christmas celebrations.

For the travel Her Majesty opted for an all-pink outfit consisted of a long overcoat, a dress, and matching headscarf.

The monarch wore her black loafers and carried her Launer black handbag.

Prince Philip Has Been Hospitalized

As Her Majesty departed Buckingham Palace, her husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (98) was heading to London’s King Edward VII Hospital for a planned, precautionary examination for a a “pre-existing condition.”

According to reports, Queen Elizabeth was aware of his appointment.

Statement from Buckingham Palace

“The Duke of Edinburgh travelled from Norfolk this morning to the King Edward VII Hospital in London for observation and treatment in relation to a pre-existing condition.

The admission is a precautionary measure, on the advice of His Royal Highness’ Doctor.”

Prince Philip Has Been Discharged From Hospital

Tuesday 24th December 2019

Buckingham Palace announce that Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh has today left King Edward VII’s hospital after being discharged by his Doctor and is now back at Sandringham with The Queen and members of the British Royal Family.
