“I was going to give you this drawing as a Christmas gift. As I drew it, I thought about how much I love you and how excited I was to see your reaction. I haven’t see you in two weeks and I’ve missed you so much”.Maud Angelica

“We could never imagine that our own father would leave us. It’s nobody’s fault. We cannot blame ourselves. Suicide is like a deadly disease. Dad must have been so tired that he saw no other way out.”Maud Angelica
Maud also said:
“When I was scared of monsters under the bed you said you would take care of me. You were my hero. I love you so much. I need you in my life.
We thought you would be here to follow us down the aisle when we get married, see what we do with our lives, see what people we become, see improvement in art, horseback riding and makeup – or be here to see our future children. But wasn’t like that. You decided to leave early.
There is always a way out. I want to tell everyone that there is always a way out, even if it doesn’t feel that way. You can get help and it can get better.”Maud Angelica

Princess Märtha Louise’s words to Ari Behn:
Dear Ari,Princess Martha Louise, former wife of Ari Behn.
“We were supposed to be together for Christmas and celebrate. We had all been looking forward to it.
And we are so infinitely sad and sorry for the loss of you, because you were the girls’ warm, funny, wise and good dad that they so dearly miss. We miss the funny comments, your fine perspectives, your poetic tone, your overflowing compliments, the love you had for them. Today you would have been so proud of them. But now there is a void where you used to be, because no one can ever replace you for our beautiful girls. And it is so painful to think that you would leave the earth. We are in deep sorrow and pain all together.
An invisible illness took over you bit by bit, and that is when mental health decays. Over a longer period of time we saw you gradually fade away, but we held on to the belief that it would go on to be okay. Your family fought for you. They have been there for you day and night.
You are and will continue to be deeply missed, Ari. And I feel sad that you never really realised how loved you were. I hope that we who are left can be good at praising each other and saying nice words to each other. For we have this life to share just how much we love each other and what wonderful qualities we see in each other. We will keep you in our hearts, Ari, and move on with your words: Every day is a party and you are a piece of jewelry.”
