King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden Presented Gardens Awards at Solliden Palace
27 July 2019 – King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden presented the 2019 Gardens Awards at Solliden Palace Park to the winners of the competition.
For the fifth year in a row, beautiful gardens have been designed in Solliden Palace Park to give visitors inspiration and new ideas. This year’s theme was “Balcony Life” and eight participants have competed.

Prince Carl Philip participated in Lidkoping Open Karting Competition
4 August 2019 – Prince Carl Philip attended the Lidkoping Open Karting Competition and presented “Prince Carl Philip Trophy” to the winners of the DD2 and Rotax Max category at Lidkoping Motorstadion in Linkoping, Sweden.⠀Embed from Getty Images

King Carl Gustaf and Silvia Visited Vehicle exhibition in Solliden
4 August 2019 – King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden visited the Solliden Motor Vehicles Exhibition (Entusiastfordonsutställning) in Solliden Palace Park in Öland.
During the exhibition, the park was filled with about 300 different vehicles – old mopeds, motorcycles, tractors and cars could be seen among other things.
Among the items, the King was also given the opportunity to revisit his old car from childhood at Solliden. Later, King Carl Gustaf presented the awards to owners of the vehicles selected by the jury.

New photos of Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar from their 2019 Summer Holiday
11 August 2019 – New photos of Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar of Sweden have been released by Royal Court of Sweden (Kungahuset).
Crown Princess Victoria photographed her children Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar during The Crown Princess family’s holiday earlier this summer.
The pictures were taken on the West Coast of Sweden and on the island of Blå Jungfrun (Blue Virgin Island).
The Crown Prince Family spent part of the month of July in Bohuslän, a Swedish province in Götaland. At Tjörn, the sixth largest island in Sweden, the family visited, among other things, the “Pilane Sculpture Park” in Swedish “Skulptur i Pilane”.
Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar posed at the “Pilane Sculpture Park” along the sculpture of 14-meter women’s head ANNA by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa.
