Summer is here!! and members of The Danish Royal Family has started the holidays and we are taking a look at what they are doing.

Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine

Crown Princess Mary has shared a new photo of her twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent playing tennis on the grounds of Gråsten Palace (Danish: Gråsten Slot).

Gråsten Palace is best known for being the summer residence of the Danish Royal Family. It is located in Gråsten in the Jutland region of southern Denmark.

Prince Joachim and Princess Marie at The Château Vignelaure

Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and children Prince Henrik and Princess Athena enjoyed a mini-holiday at The Château Vignelaure in Jouques (Jocas in Occitan) a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in southern France.

Chateau Vignelaure is owned by the Scandinavian couple Mette and Bengt Sundstrom, great friends of Prince Joachim. They are also the owners of the auction company in Denmark.

Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and children at Château de Cayx

On July 7, Princess Marie shared new photo of her family Prince Joachim (husband), Prince Henrik and Princess Athena (Marie and Joachim’s children), and Prince Nicolai and Prince Felix (Prince Joachim children from his first marriage to Alexandra Manley, Countess of Frederiksborg).

The happy family and dog Cerise, a Bichon Frise of Danish descent, are enjoying their summer holidays at The Cayx Palace (Danish: Château de Cayx, French: Château de Caïx) in Luzech, France.

The Château de Caïx is a residence of the Danish Royal Family located in the wine district of Cahors in southern France.

Prince Joachim’s parents, Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik (1934 – 2018) purchased the château and the estate in 1974. Since then they have renovated it extensively.

According to the official website of the Danish monarchy, the residence has become a “relaxed setting for reunions of the entire Danish Royal Family and their French relatives”. It has been the setting for holiday photocalls for the Danish Royal Family, including for Prince Henrik’s 80th birthday.

New Photos of the Crown Princely Family of Denmark

Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik shared new photos with their children Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Prince Josephine at Gråsten Palace (Danish: Gråsten Slot), where the family is enjoying the summer holiday.

Grace, the pet dog of the family, is also at Gråsten Palace.
