
PRINCESS SOFIA AND PRINCE CARL PHILIP RECEIVED 2020 CHRISTMAS TREES
On December 16, Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip received 2020 Christmas trees for the Royal Palace (Swedish: Kungliga slottet) in Stockholm from forestry programme students Clara Hernblom, Alice Sjölund, Kaj Sjöqvis and Sofia Andersson of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences SLU.
The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences SLU (Swedish: Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet) has presented Christmas trees to the Royal Palace since the late 1960s.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was organized outside. Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia received the traditional Christmas trees at the courtyard of the Palace.
Students of SLU handed over seven king trees in different sizes and two smaller red trees to the sons of the Prince Couple: Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel.

Princess Sofia Is Pregnant
On December 11, The Swedish Royal Court announced that Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia are expecting their third child.
“We are happy and excited, and are looking forward to welcome our third child, a sibling to Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel. A new little member to our family.”

The Royal Court said thar Princess Sofia is feeling well and the birth is expected to take place at the turn of the month March-April 2021.
