Denmark

  • Queen Margrethe II presented the “Queen’s Clock” to Emil Street Lundqvist, a guard from the Royal Life Guard, for his exceptional service. The event took place during a Military Parade at Marselisborg Slot with fewer attendees than usual due to the situation with coronavirus.⁣ ⁣⁣
  • Crown Princess Mary’s address at Global Pride 2020. She is the patron for World Pride 2021 in Copenhagen. The Crown Princess said: “COVID-19 brought about unprecedented social and economic challenges, and deep sorrow for communities. Challenging times are times where we unite, and it made me happy to hear that LGBTI and organizations were coming together to create a virtual Global Pride”.


Luxembourg

  • The Cour Grand-Ducale released new photos of Prince Charles of with his parents Guillaume and Stéphanie and his grandfather Grand Duke Henri.

Spain

  • King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia visit The Canary Islands and The Balearic Islands (Catalan: Illes Balears) as part of the royal tour ““Spain for Sure” that will take them through Spanish autonomous communities to support economic, social and cultural activity after the Coronavirus outbreak.

Sweden

  • Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip shared a new photo of their sons Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel. The royal couple will be posting new images to highlight Sweden during the summer.
  • During the week, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel did several visits through Stockholm related to the pandemic to shed light on companies and organizations that changed due to the pandemic, and to show appreciation for the healthcare professionals.
  • King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia opened the Themed Gardens 2020 competition in Solliden Palace Park.


United Kingdom

  • Sophie of Countess of Wessex, Patron of St John Ambulance visited the charity’s Operational Support Hub. She also visited Disability Initiative, a charity supporting adults with complex physical disabilities.
