  • Anne Princess Royal hosted an Investiture Ceremony at Buckingham Palace honouring deserving people from all walks of life, including Olivia Colman, who received an honour in recognition of her Services to Drama. The actress portrays Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in the third season of The Crown.
  • Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, founder of the Invictus Games, attended the UK team announcement for next year’s games in The Hague.

  • Episode two of ‘Prince Charles: Inside the Duchy of Cornwall’. The documentary follows staff and tenants of the Duchy of Cornwall during The Prince of Wales’s 50th working year as The Duke of Cornwall.
  • Meghan, Duchess of Sussex visited the women of Luminary Bakery as they celebrated the opening of their new location. It was a special moment to acknowledge the spirit of Luminary and their remarkable business model that opens its arms to women from vulnerable circumstances (be it abuse, poverty, trafficking, marginalisation) and equips them with the job skills and confidence to succeed.

Sweden

  • King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted a lunch for the Nordic Prime Ministers, the Presidents and other Nordic politicians in connection with the Nordic Council session in Sweden. The Nordic Council is the official body for formal inter-parliamentary co-operation. Formed in 1952, it has 87 members from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland.
  • Princess Sofia attended Halloween party at Project Playground.


Spain

  • Happy Birthday to Queen Sofia of Spain, who turns 81 years old. She born as Princess Sophia of Greece and Denmark on 2 November 1938.

Norway

  • King Harald and Queen Sonja held a reception for the awarded of the King’s Merit Medal who were invited to the Palace. Among the guests were Anita Skorgan, who received the award for her work as an artist and composer for almost 50 years.
  • Crown Prince Haakon opened the Startup Campus in Oslo. In addition to being a place where entrepreneurs can work and meet other start-up companies, the Startup Campus will be a development and learning arena for entrepreneurship. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
