THE ROYAL BIRTHDAY OF PRINCESS ESTELLE OF SWEDEN
Happy 9th birthday to Princess Estelle of Sweden, Duchess of Östergötland born on 23 February 2012 as the elder child and only daughter of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland.
Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary is the eldest grandchild of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silva, and is second in line of succession to the Swedish throne.

On occasion of Princess Estelle 9th birthday, The Swedish Royal Court has released new photos of the Princess. The photos were taken by Kate Gabo at the Haga Palace (Swedish: Haga slott).

Princess Estelle was baptised on 22 May 2012 at the Royal Chapel of Stockholm Palace. Archbishop Anders Wejryd conducted the ceremony.

Her godparents were her maternal uncle, Prince Carl Philip of Sweden; her paternal aunt, Anna Westling-Söderström; Willem-Alexander, the then-Prince of Orange (now King of the Netherlands); Crown Princess Mary of Denmark (for whom she was given her fourth name); and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway.
