
QUEEN MAXIMA WITH A PARROT IN SOUTH-WEST DRENTHE
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands visited South-West Drenthe on September 18, 2019. During the visit Queen Maxima was fascinated by a friendly grey parrot.

Nature also plays an important role in Southwest Drenthe where there are three National Parks: Dwingelderveld, Drents-Friese Wold, and Drentsche Aa.
The King and The Queen visited Hoogeveen, Westerveld, De Wolden and Meppel municipalities.
