QUEEN MÁXIMA VISITS PAKISTAN DAY 3

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands visited Pakistan from November 25-27 in her capacity as the United Nations Secretary General’s Special Advocate (UNSGSA) for Inclusive Finance for Development.

For her last day in Pakistan, Queen Máxima wore an Altuzarra dress with an asymmetrical skirt length, Red Chanel 2.55 Bag, and Red Boots from Gianvito Rossi.



Queen Máxima Visited Lahore

On her last day in Pakistan, Queen Máxima travelled to Lahore, the capital of the province of Punjab.

In Lahore Queen Máxima visited several projects with a focus on digital financial services that help business owners develop their businesses

Queen Máxima Visited Bykea, Lahore

Upon her arrival to Lahore, Her Majesty visited Bykea, a Pakistani ride-hailing company.

The Queen received a warm welcome by Bykea Pakistan Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Muneeb Maayr, Bykea employees and clients.

A group of employees apprised Queen Maxima about their experiences, expertise and financial inclusion with the Bykea.

The Queen said that she “support Bykea’s work on enabling responsible technology for financial inclusion”.



Tez Financial Services

Afterwards, Queen Máxima visited Tez Financial Services, a fintech company that provides instant access to financial services through a mobile application. Subscribers can use Tez Financial Services to borrow, save, insure and invest money.



Merchant Shop Powered by Finja

Next, Her Majesty Queen Máxima visited a merchant shop powered by Finja, a financial technology (fintech) startup.

FINJA is a zero cost payment platform with an integrated loan and E-Commerce market place, founded by veterans of tech and banking industry.

The Queen learned about the usage of digital technology for financing small businesses by Finja Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Qasif Shahid.

Queen Maxima said she “appreciated the idea of the company which was financing more than 700 small merchants in the city”.



GharPar Tech Private Limited

Last, The Queen learned about GharPar Tech Private Limited, known as GharPar, a mobile app and web based solution providing women with high quality, hygienic, and timely at-home beauty services.

GharPar is the ultimate in comfortable, convenient, and professional beauty salon services at home.

In Lahore, beautician Sofia Bibi explains how her income has increased. She is affiliated with GharPar. This gives her more customers. All GharPar beauticians have a mobile wallet (mobile wallet) for their FINJA income. Safer and extra time for more customers, and therefore more income.
