QUEEN MÁXIMA VISITED THE VETERANS INSTITUTE IN DOORN

On July 15, Queen Maxima visited the Veterans Institute (Dutch: Veteraneninstituutn) in Doorn, a town in the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug in the central Netherlands.

Since its founding in 2000, the Veterans Institute (Vi) aims at promoting social recognition for the efforts made by armed forces veterans on behalf of the Dutch state and Dutch society.



During her visit, Queen Maxima received information about the veterans’ world and the way in which the Veterans Institute works for them.

The Queen’s outfit is by Belgian fashion house Natan, a white blouse and black culotte pants.



Dutch Queen Máxima also speaks with veterans, service providers and volunteers about the various aspects of veteran work and organizing and participating in activities by veterans.
