QUEEN MÁXIMA VISITED THEATER, FUNERAL HOME AND MENTAL HEALTH INSTITUTION

Theater De Nieuwe Regentes

On July 1, Queen Máxima visited Theater De Nieuwe Regentes in The Hague, where she met representatives of The Creative Coalition (Dutch: De Creatieve Coalitie), a collaboration of 36 professional organizations in the creative sector.



During a tour of the theater, Queen Máxima spoke to actors, dancers, visual artists and theater technicians about the challenges they face as a freelancer due to the corona pandemic.

In addition, dancers, actors and musicians showed their skills. Her Majesty wore Natan Couture.



Engelen & Spoor Funeral Services

On July 2, The Queen visited Engelen & Spoor Funeral Services (Dutch: Engelen & Spoor Uitvaartverzorging) in The Hague, to learn about the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the funeral industry and the development of new protocols to comply with corona measures.

The Quen wore Massimo Dutti wool herringbone suit with ana orange blouse and carried a Natan clutch.

Queen Máxima spoke with directors of various funeral companies in the country about experiences with the corona measures and their impact on organizing a funeral.

Mental Health Care Institution

Later, Queen Máxima paid a working visit to the Mental Health Care Institution Noord-Holland-Noord (GGZ NHN) in Schagen. GGZ NHN offers treatment and counseling to people of all ages with mental health problems.

The Queen spoke with involved practitioners, experts by experience and administrators about three specializations of GGZ NHN, namely treating people in their own environment (ambulantization), the focus on recovery and personal direction and the provision of digital care and prevention.

Once again, Queen Maxima’s outfit is by Natan Couture, a striped white and blue dress with white cardigan.
