QUEEN MAXIMA ATTENDED CNV VAKMENSEN’S ANNIVERSARY CONFERENCE

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands attended the 125th anniversary conference of CNV Professionals (Dutch: CNV Vakmensen) at the NBC Congrescentrum‏ in Nieuwegein, Netherlands on November 29, 2019.

CNV Professionals is a trade union and its part of the National Federation of Christian Trade Unions (CNV) (Dutch: Christelijk Nationaal Vakverbond) in the Netherlands

National Federation of Christian Trade Unions (CNV) has more than 320,000 members and is completely independent from government agencies or political groups.



Queen Máxima attended the jubilee congress and receives the jubilee book “Representation of interests as a calling” (Dutch: Belangenbehartiging als roeping).

Subsequently, the Queen spoke with experts inside and outside the trade union and members of CNV Vakmensen.

CNV Vakmensen is the largest trade union within the CNV and represents the interests of employees in industry, construction, transport, trade, services and food. The union has around 137,000 members and is party to more than 400 collective agreements.



Royal Fashion: Queen Máxima of the Netherlands

The Queen wore a soft pink coat – dress by Dutch fashion designer Claes Iversen with matching belt and stud diamond earrings.

She also worn a pink bandeau headpiece studded with small sequins.

Her Majesty previously wore this look for the state visit to the United Kingdom in October 2018.
