QUEEN MAXIMA AT THE SEMINAR ‘INDIA AND THE NETHERLANDS’

The King and Queen learn about the relationship between the Netherlands and India as preparation for their State Visit to India in October.

The seminar was organized by The Royal Asian Art Society in the Netherlands (‘Koninklijke Vereniging van Vrienden der Aziatische Kunst’, in short KVVAK) and the Embassy of India in the Netherlands.

The Royal Couple also looks at the bronze sculpture of Shiva Nataraja (ca. 1100 – 1200).

During the seminar, the Ambassador of India, Venu Rajamony, presented his book ‘India and The Netherlands: Past, Present and Future’. The King received the first copy of the book.
