QUEEN MATHILDE VISITED TECHNICAL INSTITUTE OF THE FRENCH COMMUNITY

On June 12, Queen Mathilde of the Belgians paid a visit to the Technical Institute of the French Community, ITCF Val- Itma (French: Institut Technique de la Communauté française) in Tournai, a city in western Belgium.

The Queen took part in a meet and greet with the bakery and bike repair classes of the ITCF.

The Queen was interested in the impact of the measures in the context of the fight against Covid-19 on the functioning of the Institute as well of the pupils and teachers.

Schools been allowed to open with respect of social distancing. The Belgian government asks all citizens to stay home and refrain from “non-essential inbound and outbound travel” to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Belgian Queen Mathilde wore a vibrant green blazer dress with collar. She accessorised with Gold Leaf Earrings and carried a colourful handbag with matching shoes by Dries van Noten.

During the visit, The Queen also wore a protective mask.
