QUEEN MATHILDE VISITS MINOR-NDAKO

On June 29, Queen Mathilde visits the centre of Minor-Ndako, a non profit organization, in Anderlecht, Belgium.

Minor-Ndako offers specialized care and help for children, youngsters and their context in problematic situations. The association focus on children from all over the world, in particular the most vulnerable among them.

It was established in 2002 as a centre for unaccompanied foreign minors and has been recognized by The Flemish Government within the framework of Integrale Jeugdhulp (Integrated Youth Care).

During her visit, Queen Mathilde listen to testimonies of young unaccompanied minors who are cared for by Minor-Ndako.

Following by a discussion with the guides who prepare these young people to live independently. The majority of young people come from countries in conflict such as Syria and Afghanistan.
