Queen Mathilde of the Belgians visits the Food Bank of the Province of Liège (French: Banque Alimentaire de la Province de Liège ASBL) on October 22, 2020 in the Wallon municipality of Seraing, Belgium.
The Queen toured the storage area and later attended a round table discussion with representatives of the social sector responsible for food aid. On this occasion, the impact of the Covid-19 health crisis on the society, on growing poverty and the upward trend in requests for food aid in Belgium were discussed.
Her Majesty also visits the local charity “Accueil et Partage” in Bas-Ougrée which fights against hunger and social exclusion.
For the engagements, Queen Mathilde wore grey dress from Natan.
