The exhibition is organized by the National Library and Spanish Cultural Action on occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Concepción Arenal. She was born on 31 January 1820 in Ferrol, a city in the Province of A Coruña in Galicia, on the Atlantic coast in north-western Spain .
