The event of the BBVA Microfinance Foundation recognizes the work of Latin American entrepreneurs in the face of the economic impact of the health crisis and the important role of technology. The event was held with a hybrid face-to-face and virtual format.

Speaking at the event, Queen Letizia talked about the “transforming energy of so many women” in Latin America. The Queen underlined the importance of “digital transformation, investment in education and training, sustainable development”, especially during the pandemic.
