QUEEN ELIZABETH II AT THE 750TH ANNIVERSARY OF WESTMINSTER ABBEY

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II joined by Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall attended a Service to mark the 750th Anniversary of Westminster Abbey on October 15, 2019 in London.

The Queen was greeted by the Very Reverend Dr John Hall, who is Dean of Westminster Abbey.

At the start of the service, a bouquet of roses was laid at the Shrine of St. Edward the Confessor on behalf of The Queen.

Westminster Abbey was consecrated on 13 October 1269, after Henry III rebuilt a basilica on the site as Edward the Confessor’s original church.

The Queen received a posie of yellow and white flowers.

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth wore a dove grey coat with a pink floral dress beneath and feathered hat.

She accessorised her look with flower brooch, classic pearl earrings and her Launer bag.
