QUEEN ELIZABETH II CONDUCTED HER FIRST ENGAGEMENTS SINCE THE FUNERAL OF PRINCE PHILIP

Queen Elizabeth II conducted her first engagements since the funeral of her beloved husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (1921-2021). Her Majesty held Audiences with incoming Ambassadors via video link from Windsor Castle to Buckingham Palace on April 27, 2021.

The Queen virtually met with: Her Excellency Mrs Ivita Burmistre, Ambassador from the Republic of Latvia and Her Excellency Mrs Sara Affoue Amani, Ambassador from the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.

For today’s audiences, Her Majesty chose one of the Nizam of Hyderabad Rose Brooches.

There are more than 170 Ambassadors and High Commissions based in London. Each have an Audience of The Queen shortly after taking up their role.
