The Royal Court of Sweden (Swedish: Kungahuset) has shared a new photo of Princess Sofia, Duchess of Värmland, to celebrate her 36th birthday. The photo was taken at the Stockholm Palace or the Royal Palace (Swedish: Stockholms slott or Kungliga slottet).

Princess Sofia, née Sofia Kristina Hellqvist, was born on 6 December 1984 at Danderyd Hospital in Danderyd, a municipality north of Stockholm in Stockholm County in east central Sweden.

Sofia Kristina Hellqvist married Prince Carl Philip, the only son and the second of three children of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden at the Slottskyrkan in Stockholm on 13 June 2015.
