PRINCESS SOFIA AT THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF SAVE THE CHILDREN

Princess Sofia of Sweden attended the 100th Anniversary of Save The Children Sweden (Swedish: Rädda Barnen) at the Quality Hotel Friends in the Municipality of Solna, Stockholm, Sweden on November 15, 2019.

Rädda Barnen (Save the Children Sweden) is the name of the Swedish section of the Save the Children International.

For this event, Princess Sofia wore By Malina velvet trousers, burgundy velvet blazer by Tommy Hilfiger with a black silk blouse. She carried a black handbag and accessorised her look with statement earrings.

Save the Children Sweden was founded on November 19, 1919, by Ellen Palmstierna (chairman) together with writer Elin Wägner, Gerda Marcus and Anna Kleman.

Princess Sofia was welcomed by Helena Thybell, Save the Children’s Secretary-General and Lise Bergh, Save the Children’s Chairman.

Save the Children has about 60,000 members in Sweden and is part of a global organization with operations in 120 countries.

Every two years Save the Children Sweden have a Business Conference, this year the conference is in honor of its 100th anniversary and took place from November 15 to November 17.

At tonight conference Princess Sofia and the audience listened, among other things, to a panel discussion under the heading “Stop the war on children”.
