PRINCESS MARIE OPENED THE DANISH CHURCH OF PARIS CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

Princess Marie of Denmark officially opened the Danish Church of Paris Christmas Bazaar (Danish: Frederikskirken – Den Danske Kirke i Paris’ Julebasar) on November 29, 2019 in Paris, France.

Frederikskirken’s Christmas Bazaar is open from November 29 to December 1, 2019.

Princess Marie arrived at the Danish Church Christmas Bazaar.

Frederikskirken was named after King Frederick IX of Denmark, who inaugurated the church on April 24, 1955.

The Princess said a few words as she officially opened the Christmas Bazaar (Danish: Julebasar).

After the Princess’s opening speech, Her Royal Highness was shown around the Danish Christmas bazaar.

The Danish Church Christmas bazaar is a regular tradition, usually visited by 3,000-4,000 guests, who come to taste Danish Christmas food and buy Christmas ornaments, calendars and candles in the French capital.

In September, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and children Prince Henrik and Princess Athena moved to France, where they will live for a year, while Prince Joachim is taking military training.
