
PRINCESS ELISABETH MILITARY INITIATION TRAINING AT ELSENBORN CAMP
Belgian Royal Palace has published new photos and videos of Princess Elisabeth, Duchess of Brabant, during her military initiation training at Elsenborn Army Camp in Bütgenbach, a municipality located in the Belgian province of Liège.
The Duchess and other 169 students began their training on 31 August at the Royal Military Academy in Brussels.
On 2 September, Princess Elisabeth and classmates moved to Elsenborn Army Camp, where they wake up at 5:45 a.m. every morning.
The Royal Military Academy (French: École royale militaire, Dutch: Koninklijke Militaire School) is the military university of Belgium. The institution is responsible for the education of the officers of the four components of the Belgian defence (Army, Air Force, Navy, Medical). The courses are given in French, Dutch and English.

At Elsenborg Camp, Princess Elisabeth is undergoing a rigorous training that includes drills, how to handle weapons and how to camouflage herself. During her training, The Princess is known as “van België”.
