On August 22, 2019 The Funeral of Princess Christina of the Netherlands took place at the Royal Stables of the Noordeinde Palace in The Hague, Netherlands. Princess Christina’s children Nicolas Guillermo, Bernardo Guillermo and Juliana Guillermo attended the funeral.

The three sister of Princess Christina were also present Princess Beatrix, Princess Irene and Princess Margriet and husband Pieter van Vollenhoven.

The Dutch Royal Family walked behind the coffin of the Princess before her funeral service.

At the request of Princess Christina no black clothes was worn. The Princess did not want her funeral to be a sad affair.

Princess Christina of the Netherlands died on 16 August 2019 at the age of 72, after suffering from bone cancer according to the Dutch Royal House.

After the service, Princess Christina’s remains were cremated.
