PRINCESS ALEXIA AND PRINCESS LEONOR WILL ATTEND UWC ATLANTIC COLLEGE IN WALES

Princess Alexia Will Study at UWC Atlantic College

The Royal House of the Netherlands announced that Princess Alexia will attend the UWC Atlantic College in Wales, United Kingdom in Autumn. It is a 2-year program, where she will get her International Baccalaureate.

Alexia is currently studying at the Christelijk Gymnasium Sorghvliet in The Hague.



Alexia of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange-Nassau (Alexia Juliana Marcela Laurentien; born 26 June 2005) is the second daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima. Princess Alexia is a member of the Dutch Royal House and second in the line of succession to the Dutch throne.

Princess Leonor of Asturias Will Study at UWC Atlantic College

Last month, the Household of His Majesty the King of Spain also announced that Princess Leonor of Asturias will be attending UWC Atlantic College in September.

The Princess will study the two-year international Baccalaureate Program. Leonor is studying at Santa Maria de los Rosales High School.

UWC Atlantic College

Atlantic College or the United World College of the Atlantic (sometimes styled UWC Atlantic College or UWCAC) is an independent, international, residential Sixth Form College in the Vale of Glamorgan in Wales.

Atlantic College is located at St Donat’s Castle, a 12th-century castle near the town of Llantwit Major on the South Wales coast.

Past Graduates include King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands (Princess Alexia’s father), Princess Raiyah bint Hussein (daughter of late King Hussein and Queen Noor of Jordan) and Princess Elisabeth of Belgium.

The then Prince Willem-Alexander, flanked by his parents Queen Beatrix and Prince Claus of the Netherlands, met his house master David Hobman and Dutch language teacher Gerrit-Martin Gerritsen at the World Colleges’ Atlantic College at St Donat’s Castle, Wales.
