December 7, The Royal House of Denmark has released a statement to confirm that Prince Christian of Denmark (15) has tested positive for COVID-19 following an outbreak at his school.
He has not been in contact with other members of the royal family in recent times other than his parents Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary and siblings Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.
In the coming days, the Crown Prince family will stay in isolation in Frederik VIII’s Palace, until it is safe to break the isolation again according to the current guidelines.
Prince Christian of Denmark, Count of Monpezat (Christian Valdemar Henri John; born 15 October 2005) is the eldest child of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary. A grandson of Queen Margrethe II, he is second in the line of succession to the Danish throne, after his father.
Christian has three siblings: Princess Isabella (born 21 April 2007), Prince Vincent (born 8 January 2011), and Princess Josephine (born 8 January 2011).
