Queen Mathilde and King Philippe visited the Bois de l’Abbaye Hospital Center, CHBA (French: Centre Hospitalier Bois de l’Abbaye) in Seraing, Liege, Belgium on November 17, 2020.

The Royal Couple met with staff from different hospital departments and learned about capacity management during the second COVID-19 wave at the Defense Intermediate Hospital Capacity unit, a wing of the hospital, where COVID patients who do not require intensive care, are cared for by military personnel.

Later, Their Majesties put on full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to meet patient with Coronavirus disease.
