MARY AND FREDERIK OF DENMARK VISIT FRANCE – DAY 1

From 7 October to 9 October Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark are making an official visit to Paris, France.

The Danish delegation consist of around fifty companies and organisations. The visit is named ‘Denmark and France – together for a better life and a sustainable future’ and focused on healthcare, energy and sustainable cities.

On 7 October, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary started the day visiting La Grande Arche de la Défense in the financial and business district, where they meet with the Danish business delegation in the official opening of the business promotional campaign.

The Crown Princess wore a blue midi-dress, featuring flared arms and a pleated skirt by Ole Yde, blue high-heels and matching clutch.

She accessorised her look with an elegant pearl bracelet by Dulong and pearl drop earrings.

Frederik wore navy suit and blue and white tie.

Afterwards, The Crown Prince Couple split for the rest of the day.



Crown Prince Frederik visited the electricity producer EDF Group, Électricité de France, with Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod and H.E. Danish Ambassador to France Michael Starbæk Christensen.

EDF Group is the largest electricity producer in France and with its subsidiaries, the company is also the largest supplier of sustainable energy in Europe.



Meanwhile Crown Princess Mary pay a visit to The Hôpital Européen Georges-Pompidou (English: Georges Pompidou European Hospital).

Crown Princess Mary visited a young patients room designed by Philippe Stark at the European Hospital ‘Georges Pompidou’.

In the evening, The Royal Couple attended a reception in connection with the 30th anniversary of La Grande Arche.

The Grande Arche was inaugurated on July 14, 1989 in the year of the bicentenary of the French Revolution.

Finally, Mary and Frederik will attend a dinner with President Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron.
