On October 24, Crown Princess Mary and Crown Princess Frederik of Denmark attended AmCham’s 20th Anniversary Gala celebrated at The Moltke’s Mansion (Danish: Moltkes Palæ) in Copenhagen.
The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) is a nonprofit association representing 250 companies with investments in Denmark and United States. The association was established in 1999 and is part of the international AmCham network found in more than 100 countries.
AmCham in Denmark is part of the global AmCham network and is accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Nearly 300 guests gathered at Moltke’s Mansion for an exclusive black-tie gala, including Angela Naef, AmCham’s Chair, Stephen Brugger, AmCham’s Executive Director, Nicolai Wammen, Minister of Finance, Simon Kollerup Minister of Business among others.
The dinner was a celebration of the cultural and trade ties that exist between the United States and Denmark.
During the event, guests enjoyed an American wine-pairing dinner followed by a musical performance by singer Nicklas Sahl.

Afterwards, Crown Prince Frederik announced the winner of AmCham’s 2019 Foreign Company of the Year, which went to the American biotech company Amgen, which through science, innovation and technology transforms ideas and research results into medicine for patients with serious illnesses.
