KING FELIPE AND QUEEN LETIZIA AT THE LAUNCH OF SPAIN FOR SURE

On June 18, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia presided over the launch of the national tourism advertising campaign “Spain For Sure” in an official ceremony held at The Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain.

The aim of the ‘Spain For Sure’ campaign is to project a positive image of Spain abroad after the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Prado Museum was chosen for the presentation of “Spain for Sure” because it is one of the internationally recognized emblems of Spanish culture. It is one of the most visited sites in the world, and it is considered one of the greatest art museums in the world.

During the launch, King Felipe VI delivered a speech. He asked for “faith and confidence in Spain”:

“Send the world together a clear message of faith in ourselves and confidence in the strength of our economy and our society, in our future, “Spain, for sure”, “Spain, sure yes.”

The campaign’s first activity is the distribution of a video emphasising confidence in and the security of the country.

The video features the “Honorary Ambassadors of the Spain Brand”. They are Rafa Nadal, Pau Gasol, José Andrés, Isabel Coixet, Fernando Alonso, Ana Botín, María Blasco, Sara Baras, Ferrán Adriá, Andrés Iniesta, Edurne Pasabán, Valentín Fuster, the Roca brothers, Carolina Marín and Teresa Perales.

For the launch of “Spain for Sure”, Queen Letizia wore Massimo Dutti Long Sleeve Satin Midi Dress in Red, Magrit Mary satin clutch in red, Carolina Herrera Essential slingback suede pumps in red and Sterling silver signature ring from Karen Hallam.
