Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella accompanied their parents Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene at the premiere screening of the documentary “Planète Méditerranée” in Ile Rousse, a commune in the Haute-Corse department of France on the island of Corsica.
The Princely Family was welcomed by Mr. Gilles Simeoni, President of the Executive Council of the Collectivity of Corsica, and Mrs. Angèle Bastiani, Mayor of Ile Rousse.

The documentary “Planète Méditerranée”, related the extraordinary scientific expedition of Laurent Ballesta and Gombessa Expeditions team at the discovery of the unknown depths of the Mediterranean.
Conducted in July 2019, the expedition, both a physical perfomance, as well as a personal achievement, benefited from the support of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and of Monaco Explorations.
In June 2006, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco decided to establish his Foundation to address our planet’s alarming environmental situation.
