Who was The Countess Mountbatten of Burma?
Patricia Knatchbull, 2nd Countess Mountbatten of Burma, (née Mountbatten; 14 February 1924 – 13 June 2017), was a British peeress and the third cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. She was the elder daughter of heiress Edwina Ashley, and Louis Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma.

The Funeral of The Countess Mountbatten of Burma
The Countess Mountbatten of Burma died on 13 June 2017 at her home in Mersham, Kent, aged 93. Her funeral service took place on 27 June 2017 at St Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, and was attended by the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and other senior members of the royal family.

Pallbearers from the Second Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (2PPCLI), known as “The Patricia’s”, carry the coffin of Patricia Knatchbull, Countess Mountbatten of Burma at the start of her funeral service. “The Patricia’s” were in London on public duties.
The Countess Mountbatten of Burma was buried at her home in Mersham in Kent.
