ESTELLE AND OSCAR CELEBRATED WORLD BEE DAY
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and her children Princess Estelle (8) and Prince Oscar (4) joined by beekeeper Lotta Fabricius Kristiansen visited the family’s beehives for World Bee Day on May 20 on the grounds of Haga Palace in Stockholm.
Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar learned more about bees and why they are important for our biodiversity. Humans rely on pollinators, such as bees and hops, to eventually be able to get food on the table.
The beehives at Haga are a wedding gift to the Crown Princess Couple from the Swedish Beekeeper’s National Association (Swedish: Sveriges Biodlares Riksförbund).
#Bees 🐝 are the world’s most important pollinator of food crops today!
