On September 1st, Their Majesties King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie announce the engagement of their youngest son Prince Philippos to Nina Flohr. The Private Office The King has released the following statement:
“Their Majesties King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie are delighted to announce the engagement of their youngest son, Prince Philippos, to Nina Nastassja Flohr, daughter of Thomas Flohr and Katharina Flohr. Nina and Philippos were engaged on the island of Ithaca, in Greece early this summer. The details of their wedding will be released in due course.”
After the announce, the bride to be shared the next message on her instagram account:
“My dearest Philippos. I love you today, I will love you tomorrow and forever. You make us happier, better and stronger. I cannot wait to spend the rest our lives together”
Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark was born on born 26 April 1986 at St Mary’s Hospital in London as the youngest child of King Constantine II of and Queen Anne-Marie, who reigned as King and Queen of Greece from 1964 until the abolition of the monarchy in 1973.Embed from Getty Images
Philippos is named after his paternal cousin, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The Prince has four older siblings: Princess Alexia (b. 1965), Crown Prince Pavlos (b. 1967), Prince Nikolaos (b. 1969) and Princess Theodora (b. 1983).Embed from Getty Images
The prince was christened at the Greek Cathedral of St. Sophia, Bayswater, London, England, on 10 July 1986. Among his godparents were Princess Diana of Wales, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and King Juan Carlos of Spain.

In 2017, Nina founded the nonprofit marine research facility, Bazaruto Center for Scientific Studies (BCSS) in Mozambique.
Most recently Nina founded the non-profit Kisawa Sanctuary, world’s first 3D-printed retreat, in the eastern coast of Mozambique, where she will soon also develop a hotel.
