
THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE TALKED WITH LITTLE VILLAGE
The Duchess of Cambridge talked via Zoom call with charity Little Village on their fifth anniversary. Little Village collects great quality clothes, toys and kit for kids 0-5yrs and gets these items to families in need.
Her Royal Highness spoke to the Founder Sophia Parker, who told her that as well as delivering essential children’s items, our volunteers have now phoned 7000 families to retain a sense of connection and community during the pandemic.

The Duchess also check in with two of the mums that Little Village has supported, Vicky Jones and Yelda Rashid.
Embed from Getty ImagesYelda told The Duchess that she came to Little Village for support with her daughter who has Rett Syndrome, which is a rare genetic disorder. She said: “They (Little Village) were able to provide for us and they were so nice to us and really helped with how you’re feeling.”

Vicky first came to Little Village when Isla was a baby. Little Village provided baby items as well as emotional support for Vicky
