Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden participated in a Memorial Service for the 25th anniversary of the sinking MS Estonia.
The ceremony took place at the Estonia Memorial (Swedish Estoniamonumentet) on the island of Djurgården in Stockholm on September 28, 2019.
The monument is dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Estonia disaster (Swedish: Estoniakatastrofen).
The ship sank on the night of September 28, 1994 in the Baltic Sea.
852 people lost their lives, 501 of whom were from Sweden.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel laid a wreath at the Estonia Memorial.
