CROWN PRINCESS MARY ATTENDED EVENTS OF WWF DENMARK AND VELUX
On August 31, As President of the Danish branch of World Wide Fund for Nature, Crown Princess Mary attended the announcement of a new partnership between WWF Denmark and Danish company VELUX at IDA Conference Centre in Copenhagen, Denmark.
VELUX is a large manufacture of roofing windows and skylights and employs around 9 500 people.

In 1972, Prince Henrik (1934-2018), the late husband of Queen Margrethe, took the initiative to establish WWF’s branch in Denmark and, until his death, The Prince was President of the organization.
