September 29, Crown Princes Mary attended the Education Awards 2020 (Undervisningspris 2020) ceremony at the Ministry of Education and Science in Copenhagen.
The Crown Princess and Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen, Minister of Education and Science, presented the Education Awards to seven of Denmark’s most talented teachers, who represent all types of higher education institutions.

Vibeke Røn Noer, who is an associate professor and research leader in the nursing education at VIA University College, together with the Crown Princess and the Minister.
The purpose of the prize is to raise awareness of the role of teachers in the country’s higher education and to inspire excellent teaching.

Crown Princess Mary wore Vilshenko Jerry floral print silk dress, Gianvito Rossi Leather Pumps and Quidam Alligator Clutch.
Sammen med uddannelses- og forskningsminister Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen overrakte Kronprinsessen priserne til de syv vindere, som repræsenterer alle typer af videregående uddannelsesinstitutioner.

Danish Rainbow Awards
In the evening, Crown Princess Mary attended the Danish Rainbow Awards 2020 at the Wallmans Cirkusbygningen (English: Wallmans Circus Building) in Copenhagen.
The Danish Rainbow Awards pay tribute to individuals, organizations, and companies that help to create better-living conditions for LGBT people in Denmark.

This year the main prize went to actor Jacob Fauerby and dancer Silas Holst. They became known internationally when they participated as a couple in the dancing competition, Dancing with the Stars in 2019.
