THE COUNTESS OF WESSEX PRESENTED THE QUEEN ELIZABETH II AWARD FOR BRITISH DESIGN

Priya Ahluwalia of Ahluwalia, is the recipient of The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. The Award was presented by Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex, on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, during a virtual event on February 23rd.

Congratulations to Priya Ahluwalia!!



The Countess of Wessex, who is Patron of the London College of Fashion, spoke to Priya and Caroline Rush, CEO of British Fashion Council, about the effect the pandemic has had on the industry, and their style influences.

Her Royal Highness wore a pleated printed dress by Victoria Beckham.



With sustainability and ethical practice always at the heart of the design process, Ahluwalia has been chosen for her focus on craftsmanship and community.

Priya is the fourth winner of The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design, which was first presented by The Queen at London Fashion Week in 2018.
