On July 8, The Countess of Wessex visited The Half Moon Public House, a traditional country pub in the village of Windlesham in Surrey, England.

The Countess of Wessex joined fellow members of the Bagshot Women Institute, the United Kingfom’s largest voluntary women’s membership organisation with over 200,000 members. Sophie has been a member of Bagshot Women Institute since 2007.

Sophie of Wessex also spoke to the pub’s landlord and staff about how the business has been affected by COVID-19 and lockdown, and to see how they have adapted their operations in order to reopen.
