
CONFIRMATION OF PRINCE SVERRE MAGNUS OF NORWAY
Prince Sverre Magnus, son of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, was confirmed into the Church of Norway the service took place at Asker Church (Norwegian: Asker Kirke) outside Oslo on September 5, 2020.
King Harald V, Queen Sonja, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Marius Borg Høiby and Princess Märtha Louise and her daughter Leah Isadora Behn were present.

Embed from Getty ImagesAlong with the Prince, nine other young people were also confirmed, and each one was able to bring 16 guests. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, several small ceremonies are taking place instead of a large one.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Haakon arrived at the church.

Marius Borg Hoiby is the son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit for a previous relationship with Morten Borg.

Sverre’s godparents residing in Norway – Espen Høiby, Bjørn Andersen-Steinsland and Marianne Gjellestad – attended the service
His other godparents residing outside of Norway – Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, Prince Pavlos of Greece and Denmark and Rosario Nadal were unable to attend due to the to COVID-19 restrictions.
Parish priest Karoline Astrup, chaplain Marita Elvemo Sivertsen and parish educator Liv-Iren Westnes led the service.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit was tearful during the ceremony.
After the religious service, the Norwegian Royals left Asker Church.

Later, Prince Sverre Magnus and family posed for the official photos in occasion of his confirmation.
A private dinner was held in Skaugum, the official residence of The Crown Prince Couple.
In one of the photos Sverre posed with Muffins Kråkebolle and Milly Kakao.
