On March 8th, Camille Gottlieb baptised the new Monaco One shuttle in the presence of her mother Princess Stephanie, her uncle Prince Albert II and other members of the Princely family – Princess Caroline of Hanover, Pauline Ducruet, Louis Ducruet and wife Marie Hoa Chevallier – and several Monegasque and Italian authorities at Port Hercules in Monaco.

The super-fast shuttle will carry passengers from the Port of Monaco to the new Calla del Forte Port in Ventimiglia in 15 minutes.
Thanks to its innovative aeronautical design, the 12-seater catamaran, can navigate more than 40 knots and its energy consumption is 50 % lower than a conventional boat.
After the blessing of the boat by Monsignor Dominique-Marie David, Archbishop of Monaco, Camille Gottlieb pulled the rope to break the champagne bottle on the boat’s hull, following the maritime tradition.
“When they thought of me as the godmother of this shuttle, I was very touched. I have a special relationship with the sea, I love the boat and I myself am in the process of passing my license. To be godmother of this boat for me is also the sign that people trust me more and more, I am starting to have responsibilities within Monaco and that makes me really happy.”Camille Gottlieb
The shuttle returned to its home port shortly after its baptism. After that, the Monaco One will be able to start his first rotations in order to fully prepare for the transport of passengers during the Monaco Grand Prix.
